Just a fun sketch I did on the spur of the moment. This is Evening Tide, my Raksura of Three Words. She is a very young queen, so her head frills have yet to grow out. Her scale coloring is a very light blue with gold inlay that spiderwebs across her scales.For those of you who have never heard of Raksura before: They are a shape shifting race that is ruled much like that of an ant colony, Queens, then Consorts, then the others. Warriors, Abora, ext.
Three worlds was created by Martha Wells, a good book series to loose oneself in.

Huh, I somehow missed this one until now. Anyway, neat design. Like how her mane is all over the place, sort of like a lion. I also like how she doesn't quite match the human shape/anatomy and all the little details that contribute to that instead of being a lady with wings and spines.

Thank you, she is a humanoid shape shifter with two forms, her other form looks a bit more human, with smaller scales, though she still has a tail. I'm glad you enjoy her mane, it is generally untenable, though when mad it sticks out like barbs on a porcupine.
