Can someone help me out? I installed the patch and my windows bar were the start button is has gone mad. there is no start button and there are no windows were the minimized ones are supposed to go! what happened?

This has to be one of my favorites, I've used WB for quite sometime and very few skins are as detailed and well coded as this one, thanks for the great skin. Kudos.

I like it very much, but a little advice for the german users:
The logoff button text remover can destroy your windows (I think only the german windows version). It happened twice with a --> vista skin <-- on my system, but I think it's the same remover / patch. Explorer.exe was destroyed. I wouldn't try it.

Der "Logoff Button Text Remover" kann euer Windows kaputt machen. Ist mir bisher 2x passiert mit einem Vista Skin, ich denke das ist derselbe Remover. Die Explorer.exe wurde dabei beschΓ€digt. Ich wΓΌrde es an eurer Stelle nicht ausprobieren. Sagt mir, wenn dieser Fehler bei euch nicht auftritt.

im scared to ask but how much would you charge me to edit or add some stuff to novus os 1.6. i would like the large gradient shadows around window frames including start menu, a bigger font size for user name in the start menu (about twice as big) and add the user image to the start menu as well (located at the top right side, maybe a 1/4 inch towards the left in to the menu and sticking out towards the top about 1/4 inch and last thing would be to make the title bars on windows 2/5 larger including the buttons (close.mini.etc) oh and add an extra button (i dont know what its called but it minimizes the window into a small title bar on your desktop) oh oh and one last thing maybe an impossible request but how about the transparent reflections around the windows title bar in vista (it looks like a single image like a second semi transparent background that only shows up on the title bars)may you can make your reflection background with better lines/waves for more realism. i dont know why you didnt put that in their to your theme in the first place!!! lol. i say this because i really admire your theme. i feel like it was almost a perfect design just my opinion and my likings but dont flame me i dont have any attitude writing this lol. all this is hopefull wishing. anyways i cant wait to see you novus os 2. and i know its awsome already but there is always room for more.

Been using Novum for a while now but I just noticed this [link] . Is there anyway to fix this because the other skins have the windows explorer collapsible menu skinned and I know you said this was the last version...
Also do you plan on doing an official Vistart Novum Skin like this [link] maybe?

I really have to thank you for this Skin. ItΒ΄s one of the Skins I use the most. It shows, that you have a very elaborate taste.
Not because itΒ΄s beautiful, itΒ΄s also fast, very fast!
In my opinion the speed is one of the major problems of all the Skins available - yours is an outstanding exception: fast, usable & beautiful.
And youΒ΄re right, it works really good with WB6.

I always try to keep it very tidy and clean, to get most of Windowblinds, speed wise.
So im removing all unnecessary stuff by hand (it all cramps up in the skin folder) and yeah try to unify as much as possible.
But as you said, i really wonder why other skins are so slow and need long to load..

Tidy & Clean - yes, it shows. But honestly I didnΒ΄t refer to the time a Skin takes for loading - I mean the Speed when working with an already applied Skin.

This update is even better than the last one. After using vista since its release I have to go back to xp. I used an older version of this theme prior to going to vista, but ever since I upgraded my graphics card it doesn't boot up with vista due to this major issue with all nvidia cards... [link] Good thing my card works on xp- I feel bad for all those people that bought those 8800 cards. I work with all different os' at my job but the only thing I can say that is positive for vista is the added security and dx10. Other than that it doesn't have much going for it- and I used it as my main os since Feb 2007. Going back to xp for a year til I build my next machine- thanks again for making xp look better than vista.

Very nice skin....in photoshop CS3 the minimize, maximize and close buttons do not work...i have to click on the photoshop icon in the top left and select from there. Any fixes for this?

Hmm.. ppl are asking this very often ! I really suggest you just buy WindowBlinds 6, believe me its worth it.
Some Reasons for WB:
Thats why i wont update my stuff for XP .msstyles as it doesn't really make sense to port it to a format,
that is older then the original and wont exist for a long time anymore i am sorry to say that, though.
