Description
So this is the completed result of my first attempt at encaustic (wax) painting, from a portfolio clinic at the Ontario College of Art and Design.

The night before, I was driving home from a friend's house and saw a landscape that was fairly empty save for very skinny trees, the night sky, and the moon (which would normally be in the night sky, spare me, it's 3 am and I have half a coffee left 3: |). And I thought it looked interesting and was semi-tranced by it. If tranced is a word (see above for excuse).

Now this was my first try at encaustic (that scraping was painful), so it didn't turn out like what I saw, but I still think it looks pretty cool. The last tree looks like it's on fire. would be happy. XD

And you know you're lame when you name something after a song of which you don't remember the melody.
