Description
This is my friend, , who is secretly turning into Kita as she starts her imagination and picks up a pencil to draw.
This is a gift for *Silvixen (who used to be Saffhire-Phoenix) for being such an amazing friend! Also, for her birthday.

Actually, the ears (the updated ones, anyway) are done in 's style, slightly altered to fit the rest of the piece. My usual earfur style is usually much less realistic (compare the version I put in scraps to this one).

Funny little thing about the earfur: When I draw characters I usually put a little "M" tuft for fur texture; also it's a sort of signature: "M" is my first initial

Lol, yes, you had mentioned that, and that's exactly what I was thinking as I was drawing it. I think, though, that this style has evolved past using simple lines for earfur... it begs for color and lighting, and I'm trying to figure out a new style that looks good as we speak.

I see but one mistake...
There are no ports on the right side of a macbook. That's where the disk drive is.

Well, the goal wasn't to make an exact replica... the goal was to make it look like a MacBook, which I think I achieved!

True... that's one complaint I have about macbooks though... I have a macbook pro and I'm kind of frustrated with the fact that all of the ports are on the left... Wish they could put them on the right and put the disk drive on the left...
