Oh yeah, definitely. Right from the get-go, the comic was meant to be something of a love letter to both series. The carnage, dread, and grounded, clunky aesthetic of Alien, the badassery and heroism of Metroid, and the mystery and isolation of both. They share so much of a setting and feel that it's easy to make work. Samus's low-tech downgrade was both to help her fit in, and so she wouldn't be too OP in these upcoming pages. Make her think outside the box. Or... Ball, I guess.
