I finally got how to do this (i have seen many tuts of this).

Certainly. Just follow the steps above.
However, if you wanted to create the generic "tear-shape", you could use the Bloat Tool (found in Liquefy - Shift, Ctrl + X), to push the circle into the desired shape.
Play around with the settings to get the best look.

Ha! You know what, warp might work better. I was imagining what you could use to smudge the drop into a tear shape...
Try the smudge tool.

love the tut but i was wondering, if i could use it to make blood insted of water, how do i keep the red color of the blood instead of makin it see through like water?

Hmm, an interesting idea. I'd suggest using red and a darker shade of red for the gradient (instead of white and black), and then setting the Droplet layer to Darken, or perhaps multiply, depending on the depth of red in the blood required. The rest of the steps remain the same!
