Yes it was! It was kind of scary too; living in tornado country these days, I really notice the turbulence in the clouds now!

I used to live in Oklahoma, 'tornado alley,' back in the 80's. They are quite the phenomenon and have a huge effect on the local Energy. I used to sit up nights and watch them form; very interesting.

I am much closer to the great lakes, and they are not as common here as you had. That said... I still don't like them! LOL
