Thank you! It is funny to walk through our woods, peat moss covers even the live trees, they all look like they have a green fur coat. Inside that peat you find mushrooms, ferns, other trees that are starting, and countless insects that take cover in it. I moved here five years ago and I am still amazed!

It is hard to tell, but that shot is inside a hole. An old branch broke off and hollowed out with time. Now all that life is growing inside the dead tree.
