Description
So, since it's Christmas and all and I've got several requests of tutorials over the past 1 1/2 years, I've finally taken some time to create one! This is a really simple "de-tacking", and I think it took me 30 minutes something to make it!
My native language is not English; keep that in mind when you're reading and please try to forgive me for any potential misstakes.
And also forgive me for the really boring layout - but layouts aren't my biggest talant.
Other than that - enjoy!
Full copyright to me. Do NOT redistribute and upload anywhere!
The photos are mine Featuring me and Symbol. We weren't supposed to take any photos that day, which explains my horrible outfit...:/

This is so cool!! I knew it would be a lot of work to remove tack and rider from a horse, but I never guessed you'd do it like this! I finally know how it's done!
(well, not that I'd be able to do it myself.. I'm a bit of a disaster with the computer, but it's still amazing to see how the tack removal progresses
)

haha, thank you!^^
Well, you are awesome when it comes to paper and pencil, so don't feel too bad about the lack of skill with computors!

Any time!
Aww, thanks! I wish I was a bit more skilled with computers though, sometimes.. There are days when my computer just doesn't want to cooperate, and I have no idea how to fix it
So I just turn it off and on again.. not that good for the computer though

Excellent tutorial, really helps!
I think I might just use it, now that I have (literally) now found the clone tool x] (Apparently it's called clone "stamp" tool in PS version 7 :s ) I've been looking for it for months >.<

I love you
I was using only the Clone tool, but this seems to be so much easier! I'll have to try it out.

haha, thanks!
Yes, and the major difference between the clone tool and this is that you'll actually be able to keep all the details of the horse this way. The healing/clone tool have a way of making it all look pretty "flat" and unrealistic.

I've never used Gimp, but if you can use layers, the erase- and clone-tool and maybe do some adjustments in brightness/saturation and hue, than it should work there as well!

I don't have Gimp, so I wouldn't know... but can't you use this for Gimp as well...? Dosn't Gimp have the clone- and eraser tool and that kind of basic stuff?

maybe. i really don't pay attention to most of it, except the eraser, smudge, paintbrush, and move tool. lol.

I've never done any Pegasuses or Unicorns before, so I bet that there are plenty of people who could make one way better than I can.
Thanks a lot though!

well, it IS pretty easy!
... even if this particular de-tacking is a bit too easy really. But I just tried to show some basic stuff, so that's why I pickd something that simple.
Thanks a lot!
