The radience screams across the picture, plane from a light surrounded by dark particles, Β It lights the crescent of the moon/planet in the distance but also creates a depth of shadow at our very feet. There is also a large circle of confusion which plays with the viewer forcing him or her to imagine the scene is more real. Lensflares aside, there is a nice balance between the primary subject and the business of the piece.

Now this is Daily Deviation material! The detailing in this picture is almost flawless. Though I guess it did help to use Terragen 2, and even so, the way you used it is amazing.
