Description
Another portrait for practice, this time of my favourite director.....Christopher Nolan.Director of some of the best films Hollywood has to offer such as The Dark Knight and Inception.
I really dont think mainstream audience's even know who he is or what he looks like so I thought I'd throw the spotlight on him for 5 minutes!

Just like how Batman Is The Hero Gotham Deserves,Christopher Nolan is The Hero The Industry Deserves.
Christopher Nolan is one of the finest Directors working in The Industry.I don`t think he`s made a bad movie yet-and even BEFORE The Batman Films,he was making great films.The man is an auteur,a traditionalist and a genius! If he`s stay on the track he`s currently on,someday,The Oscars will have to stop snubbing him,because it`s already starting to make them look foolish and it`s making them look like a bunch of out-of-touch,snobbish elitists with their heads shoved too far up their own rears.The Late Heath Ledger posthumously winning The Best Supporting Actor as Joker was very much well-deserved and pretty much a forgone conclusion but after the way they snubbed The Dark Knigt for being nominated in The Major Categories,they had no choice but to extend The Best Picture Category.We`ll see if the upcoming The Dark Knight Rises will get nominated next year!

Besides the drawing being awesome, I love Chris Nolan (have you seen Following, his first film?). So this was an instant fave for me.

I'm ashamed to admit but I havent seen Following yet. Ive seen all his other films and he hasnt done a bad film yet. They've all been top notch in my humble opinion. A personal fave of mine is Memento, love that film

I agree, Nolan's films are all very good and interesting. Memento is one of his best. You should really check out Following, though. It's very different but you can sort of see the idea for Memento's editing kind of develop in there...

No way! That's beyond awesome. I'm looking forward to the Dark Knight Rises. Though I don't think it'll become as iconic as TDK. You know, because of the Joker + Heath Ledger's death. There were some really special circumstances surrounding that film.

He does indeed! I've seen all his films and they are all really clever and interesting films. He should've got an oscar or some sort of award for all of them! His films are definately a cut above most other films out there
