Description
Very much inspired by angels & demons (most notably Lucifer, love that pose) as well as a few other concepts.Anyway, this is my own for a demonic prince. he wields the False Prophet, a sword tempered with angel blood (demon blood is tainted and foul, angel blood is pure and searing hot) and commands his troops atop his mount Legion; a shifting mass of demons numbering in the thousands.

That's ok, you can always learn or improve on it. a great place to start is the book "The Animator's Survival Kit" by Richard Williams. it's a master class in animation. another good one is "The Illusion of Life". read em up and practice and you'll be learning a lot of fundamental animation techniques. there's a lot more to learn than from those books (such as 'Power Centres' and 'Weight
), but you'll mainly learn that from experience.

I think I've heard about both books. Can't find them though.
I'll look them up once I get back to NZed. Right now, I am on vacation.
Line Weight were one of the first things I learnt from inking but what are 'Power Centres'?

Power centres is a term i heard from someone who i think listened to some Pixar animators. anyway, it's basically a general point or part of, lets say a character, that emphasizes that character's behaviour. so a very proud/gallant looking character walking will have a high power centre, either around their chest area or maybe their head. so u can imagine how u'd animate that character's walk based on that power centre: spine would be arched back to show chest, chin up, buttocks in, taking very controlled steps. still, lots of other variations can be made, but i hope that made sense.
