Many thnx dude i'm the same; i always find it fascinating with themes to do with partnerships between a person and some machine or creature, like in Zoids, FLCL, or even in Naruto with the Jinchuurikis. it's kinda like how Miyazaki is always interested in interations between creatures and young girls. i'd say it's the contrast between the savage/coldness of them with the human/innocent.

Cheers dude! yeh, one of the dragon summons was an inspiration for this, as well as a few other works here on DA. the artist for the BoF series is one of my favs. his designs are just vibrant and full of colour.
