Believe it or not, the Big Boss Man! When I got into wrestling around 1990, I thought he was awesome because he looked different from everyone else.

He's a tad bit before my time. Only thing I remember about him was once I saw he was being hung, like from a fucking noose. I assume Undertaker did that, I remember the lights were off and when they came back, BOOM, close-up of a dead guy hanging!

Yeah, that was Wrestlemania around 1999. Boss Man started up in the late 80s though, wearing a blue prison guard uniform. Back then he weighed well over 350lbs but was incredibly nimble for that size. Had a big feud with Hulk Hogan.

I do gotta look into some more classic wrestling stuff. It's a shame there doesn't seem to be many like DVDs of old stuff like that. I would think DVDs of just straight up episodes of Raw would sell well.

I remember as a kid watching some ECW stuff, particularly there was one set I think called Bloodsport. It had matches like Terry Funk vs. Sabu in a Barb Wire Match, getting all tangled up in it. That's entertainment, right there.

Remember when they brought it back? It was BARLEY the same thing it was. I couldn't hardly distinguish it from Raw and SmackDown at the time

Yeah, that's about when I stopped watching WWE. Bringing in the watered-down nW0 was bad enough, having Stephanie head up ECW was ridiculous. The only good thing that came out WWE taking over ECW was Rob Van Dam and I'm not that big a fan of his anyway.

I still watch when I can. Haven't been able to lately, cable's been out for a while. I did watch the last Wrestlemania, that was one of the best fucking shows I've ever seen. But, I'm not overly cynical like a lot of wrestling fans seem to be. I take most of it at face value, you know, so I can actually fucking enjoy it.

Yeah, the wrestlers themselves poke fun at 'smark marks' like Scott Keith who can't seem to wring any pleasure out of watching wrestling.
