Thanks very much! Didn't turn out quite as well as I hoped - I rushed the 'lighting effect' on Talos. The research was loads of fun though.

Oh, he definitely is. Looking at pics, men aren't supposed to reach any higher than the top of his foot, I should've drawn him twice as big as I did. Never mind!

Can I take a crack at coloring Talos and this scene? I've found a nice technique in PS. Won't do it till you give the go ahead. If you want to see an example, check "Alucard and Familiars" on my page. There's an gold angel statue in the background. It would be my honor.

No problem, I don't mind at all! To be honest, I'm not drawing as much these days, I just don't have as much time on my hands ... I'm also right in the middle of a big project right now, which is going to keep me going for at least another week.

Well, whenever you have time, I was interested in crossover art of both versions of "Clash of the Titans". How would you feel, drawing Perseus and company from the classic Harryhausen film, and 2010 reboot, fighting the scorpions from both said movies?

Go for it! To be honest, I'm disappointed in several elements in this picture but probably Talos' shading more than anything. It's tough to draw convincing burnished bronze in black and white. I reckon you could do a great job with that though, given what you did with the Gru pic.

Thanks, I planned it really carefully but it changed a lot over time. Originally it was just going to be the two giants stood back to back but I added the horseman to give a sense of scale. If anything, I drew Talos too small!

Oh, if you haven't seen Harryhausen's films, you're in for a treat! These two are the Kraken from Clash Of The Titans (and yeah, there's a definite similarity to the Creature from the Black Lagoon there) and the bronze giant Talos from Jason And The Argonauts. They're fantastic movies, especially JATA.

Ahem, back in the 70's, there was a Saturday afternoon show called "Soup's on" that played these old movies.Β Seems familiar to me.Β I enjoyed the sound effects.Β Lol. Thanks for sharing.
