A scattering of sun beams flickered through the trees and gently caressed the form of a sleeping young woman, it was quite late in the say to still be in bed, but that never stopped Eva from indulging in a quick cat nap when there was some down time. She breathed softly, finally blessed with a dreamless slumber as she slowly began to awaken, stretching and shifting as the day continued slowly onward. A soft grumble escaped her as she finally returned to the waking world, still keeping her eyes shut as if pleading to stay asleep longer, which was understandable given this has been the most relaxed she felt since her arrival. Lazily, she extended one arm to pull her feather soft pillow closer, still refusing to open her eyes, locating the missing comfort she tugged it and buried her face into it's soft... cool... furry embrace. Wait... Furry? She didn't have any furry pillows, such things were tacky and would shed all over the sheets, wait why was her pillow rumbling. Evangeline shot up in a startled panicked state, pale amber eyes blinking frantically as she tried to adjust to the light. It seemed to be there were two sleeping strangers in her bed, two unwanted and unwelcomed strangers who, oh my god they tangled themselves up in her tail. Eva sat there in shock, mouth gaping open in disbelief as if she were a fish, trying to figure out where these two cats had come from. She didn't have any cats, of that she was certain. Slowly her sleepy mind started to shovel the pieces together, groaning she buried her head in her hands as she realized that these two must have come from that strange Merchant. Evangeline wanted no part in their weird chores, and had walked away as soon as they started to ask her for assistance, but I guess that didn't stop these two runaways from busting into her room to join her in a lovely sun beam nap. She peaked between her fingers, raising a brow in disdain at her two bed-mates, realizing the reason the cats were so tangled in her tail was probably due to them thinking her tail was the largest and most sparkly tempting shiny tangle of strings they have ever seen. How their romp in the glitter covered hair didn't wake her, she will likely never know. Curling in on herself, bringing her knees to her chest while observing the two tuckered out and completely at ease felines, Eva felt a pang of jealousy. If only her life were as simple and quaint, instead she was dealing with not looking like herself because of gods know what and stuck gods know where while unable to communicate with the outside world. She chewed on her lip in thought, trying to wave away the intrusive thoughts as she felt that second presence start to stir in her psyche, swallowing roughly, she gingerly laid back onto her pillow and blanket infested mattress, continuing to eye the two cats uncertainly. Evangeline had no desire to give that other presence in her head any time to fully awaken, it's arrival usually brought on killer migraines and the peace of having her head to herself was soon to be shattered. She curled up into a tight ball, shuddering softly as the first wave hit her head, she grumbled and closed her eyes in pain, begrudgingly pulling the closest cat towards her who mewled in displeasure before settling in again with a strong and steady purr. The woman remembered reading some article online about how cat's purrs had healing and soothing properties, might as well give it a shot.
