At last, a glimpse of Tangled's villian, Mother Gothel!I found some pictures of merchandise for the film . One of the items was a set of figures, and one of them was Mother Gothel! (At least I assume thats who she is...but I'm pretty sure it is.) Anyway...I kinda like her. She seems like a mix of Ursula, The Evil Queen, and Lady Tremaine. All great villians!
Her hair is crazy! It must be a wig...hmmm...
I also haven't been drawing much so I'm a little rusty. I just really wanted to draw this new villian! I've been waiting too long! haha

Interesting design on the character from the film here,I've been trying to find references of all the characters and I can't find any yet.

I wish there was more concept art or something for the film.. I want to draw SO much for it. But I can't keep basing it off the trailers and what not.. >:

If that's truely what Mother Gothel looks like--I may have just gotten hooked into the movie. I honestly wasn't expecting her to be so pretty. Truthfully I was expecting some sort of withered looking old crone--with an evil yet motherly look to her.

I heard that she has curly hair, kinda like an afro wig on her head. Great picture of her, though. Well done!

Not actuall film stills. The only picture I've seen of Gothel is of a small figure. That's why the details are off in this picture!
