Description
Not a Vulcan (2018)
While going through her morning routine, Felicia discovers a small difference that hadn't been there before.
-------
Minor update to make her look slightly less anemic and to fix a few small shading issues.
5/19: Final update: I was REALLY unhappy with the skin tones/texture. Out of some exasperation, I dug out a tutorial from an F/X Magazine publication on how to add a skin texture as an overlay from a different image to see if I couldn't get some of the skin texture back that was in the original render. I'm happy now.

"Ma! I think I've come down with an ElfenΒ disease!"
"What have I told you about swearing around your mother!"

It still has issues, but I'm satisfied. Thank you!

Too early to tell if mer, centaur, elf, or fairy...
She hasn't had any giggling fits or suden cravings for mini wheats?

Elf. More specifically, Midden Elf (Half-Elf).
(I'm less certain how they feel about mini wheats.)

Definitely no giggling then.Β
I'll have my fairy medical team on standby to transplant a sense of humor as soon as a compatible donor can be found. For some reason fairies like teasing elves almost as much as humans.

Oh, she's fine. It's (technically) the way she's supposed to look.

Not so much that, my fairies claim that High (Tolkien) elves lack a sense of humorΒ the ol' stick in the muds That makes them fair game for fairy pranks as they can reach human levels of frustration / over reactions to the smallest of things. So if she was going full elf or trying to imitate them, she would need a humor transplant asap.
Half elves aren't as much fun, from the fairy POV. They don't take themselves as seriously as full elves and usually don't let their emotions get the better of them like humans. In fact some of them are the fairies favorite accomplices, almost no one suspects them.Β

A (very) little back-story: She's the daughter of a Midden and a human. She didn't know any of this until it became a problem and a, er, 'correction' was necessary. She's (technically) human with certain Midden physical traits... which are only now becoming evident.

Still nice to see her (as well as your work).
I'll try to reign in the fairy welcome wagon. Besides they're likely to devour the "Welcome to Faerie" cake before it gets to her anyway.

You might want to stop them, anyway. There are a couple more coming to join the party.

*Checks ETA of the new arrivals.*
Er, you can send everyone home. It's gonna be a while.

Now the all have that sad puppy dog pouty face, and claim they'll be good. At least before they were distracted by that other large chocolate cake I arranged to have delivered. So your characters should be safe.

You're making great progress as an artist, and keeping your unique style.

That's probably for the best. Trying to copy other artists' style(s) was a great exercise in frustration.
