SO!! Why isn't Barry Allen a Jewish, red headed, freckled faced, nonchalant, nerdy scientist? Hmmm...because I didn't make him that way until now,lol! Just seemed like the rite thing to do is all. Flash though is a sleek, sarcastic witty, fast talking mofo. One that can actually back up his talk with actions. He also seems like the type of guy to be totally conscious about his outside appearance in terms of his superhero attire. So instead of the full body, orangy-red and yellow tights, he altered it into something that looked just a tad more wearable. Also this way he doesn't look like some silly looking fast man trying to pick up the chicks....
! But these are my own weird thoughts on the feller, whats yours?tools: Ps7, mousydoodaa

Love the costume, kind of think wally west would be a better choice for the other version since barry was blonde and wallys a ginger. really great style though

I feel bad saying this, but this version feels to me more like Wally West than Barry Allen. If you read the old comics from the 60s and 70s you get the feeling that Barry is kinda dull (out and in costume, although he has a very impressive collection of colorful friends)

I think this is my favorite of your character interpretations. It might have something to do with not being as familiar with Barry Allen as a character, but this makes him much more interesting to me! I love the dichotomy between the two of them, too. And your Flash suit is fantastic! Far more dynamic, and comfortable looking!

ummmm...i love you art style but i must point something out. i think your confusing Barry with wally. sure they personality treats but Barry was considered to be more stern and serious. Barry also did not have red hair, that's wally, but as for every thing else is cool. also keep in mind that Barry is not part of the young hero's. he was a grown man when he got he's power and might even be the same age if not a little older then batman.

Other than the the regular costume this is the best one I've ever seen! I would actually draw Flash like this if I didnt feel like drawing him in his tights.
