FULL IMAGE: [link]My first ever tutorial! This is a Paint Tool SAI tutorial of how I usually shade hair.
I'm not particularly good, but I suppose I could always help someone. 
Since I'm used to Paint Tool SAI and my GIMP lags like crazy, it should explain the noobishness of my tutorial formatting. Sadly, you can't type text in SAI (or if you can, I haven't noticed). The character belongs to me.

Thank you so much.It's been hard even with tutorials because of the program I have. But I want to do my best! If you would be willing, I want to be your student! I'll devote all of my free time for when you're available! I've been drawing since I was a little girl, and I've always been told I have a talent, but I honestly don't see it. They say I have potential, and I think you would be the person to help me! But I don't want to pressure you, so you have no obligation to say yes. I'm going to shut up now because this is getting really long... Heh...

Say, what's your brush setting that you used for shading if I may ask??

Normal brush, around 60% on blending, dilution and persistence, Min. size 0 when I'm doing detailed shading but 100% when I'm doing highlights or big shadows.
