"Isana... Yashiro? Sorry, but I do not know that person." - Kukuri, Episode 5.K Episode 5 Spoilers!
So I was watching K Episode 5 one day (meaning yesterday) and then it all went too fast, and by then it was already around 2-3 minutes before the end of the episode. The epic battle between Saruhiko and Miii-saaa-kiii had just passed and I was telling myself "OMG I'm so going to draw them"-- until the Wham Line at the end of the episode.
What the hell, Kukuri? Mind = Blown. Now I have to draw Shiro.
So okay. I theorized that long ago, but the Whamness of it was still shocking, either way. So Yashiro doesn't exist. Nobody remembers him. But everyone still recognizes him whenever they see him, don't they? Confusing, confusing...
I find that curious. This episode had barely any Yashiro in it at all, despite him being the main character. And judging by next episode's preview (which is full of Totsuka Tatara and Mi.Sa.Ki gushing about Totsuka Tatara and Homura and Suoh Mikoto), there probably won't be much Shiro in the next episode either. The anime is thus deliberately not showing the reader what he was thinking and whatever plans he's been formulating after finding the bloody shirt in his closet. That Yashiro. He's totally evil. He can go and be BFFs with Saru or something.
Yay Anna in the next episode! 'Bout time. She's so adorable but she barely said anything so far other than "Here" or "Yes" or "No". D'awwww that cute little loli kid she's so adorrrbbbsss.

I like all your theories hope I can make one too but for me it kinda disturbs me about the shiro lost his PDA or maybe he doesn't really own one from the start and lastly if Shiro is the killer (which I highly believe he is) then why does he's not aware of that...? so many questions I hope new ep comes now hehe,..

I like the picture and the theory, but Kukuri never says she doesn't know Shiro...she says she doesn't know the person in the picture, meaning the person in the picture is not Shiro, same with the "No Match Found" that Fushimi got from searching the student data-base. If the subbed version you saw made her specifically say she doesn't know Shiro then its wrong/

It's still odd, though. Mishina Souta recognized the person in the video as Yashiro immediately in Episode 4 and asked him about it. That means the person is the video is recognizable as Yashiro. Everyone recognized him as Yashiro - Shouhei, Seri, Misaki, Kuroh, etc. Thus, I don't think it was just that Kukuri who didn't recognize the person as Shiro. I don't think she was trying to cover up for him, either. Possibly, the moment Yashiro stepped out of the school campus, Kukuri stopped recognizing Yashiro, and so did everyone else - that's why both Saruhiko and Misaki found nothing in their respective investigations on Yashiro.
