Description
Galvatron and the Decepticon insignia belong to Hasbro. This is just a quick reference sheet I did up for my future Galvatron fan arts, so no shading or highlights, this time. I basically picked over several different versions of the character, including the G1 cartoon, the toy and some pics pulled from various Japanese magazines. I sometimes find it's quicker in the long run to make these references, than it is to struggle with the details in a more dynamic picture without one.Related content

Watching that movie was a formative experience for me. Discovering that my favorite cartoon characters could cuss, kill and die... When Spike threw out the "S" word, my mother was not amused.

I'm actually such a big fan of the music that I bought Vince Dicola's 'Artistic Transformations' CD. He plays special arrangements of the score on his piano. 'Death of Optimus Prime', here [link] Of course, I Iike the heavy metal songs, as well.

That was a great soundtrack. The whole movie blew my mind. I became a metalhead -but more of a Metallica and Pantera metal head.
It was a pivotal movie in my mind. It is funny how the Transformers are as popular as ever. They actually have many comics out now that have well written and sophisticated stories.

I was seriously into the IDW books until 'All Hail Megatron' more or less disregarded the issues that came before it. I quit buying IDW Transformers after that series, but I'm thinking I'll give them another chance. The recent previews I've been reading seem pretty creative.
