Description
Namco's KOS-MOS from the Xenosaga series of games. Edit: Tweaked a few of the gradient tone layers. Commission for who has instructed me to put it up for download so the fans of KOS-MOS can enjoy it. I'm fairly pleased with it. The length of her hair allowed me to try some shading techniques I wouldn't normally use on one of my own characters, so that was fun.

Yeah, I liked the design of her weapons, so I tried to stay pretty close to the originals (except for my habit of making things bigger). I don't know if it's appropriate for me to have given her two weapons at once, but that's the picture that sprang into my mind.

Glad you like it. I'd like to sit on this for a few days and then see if there are any corrections/small tweaks that need to be made after which I can send you a high res copy.
I've been doing some sketches for the Link and Midna thing, but I've got a couple of other projects with deadlines that I need to finish before I can give that one the attention it deserves. I am looking forward to it, though.

I know how ya feel. Being able to produce work of the highest quality possible as an artist at any current skill level is a pride thing.
Don't worry about it so much. I'm gonna be starting Alita sometime soon. It'll definitely be nice. I'm thinking a piece to go with this Kos-mos piece since they're both wonderfully mechanized marvels.

I've been drawing/inking lines with the intent to color for so long now, that I have to wonder what would happen if I tried to just ink something. I think I'll work on some black and white stuff in the near future.
