do fennec foxes cope well in the home environment? Do they require any special attention or special care that other domesticated pets do not?

Yes they do well in the right home. My home is very fox friendly 
They do require allot more work and dedication then domesticated animals such as requiring a special diet, a specialist vet, to be watched at ALL times when loose in the home for their safety and such.

I was wondering, ive been doing research for a long while now, and ive read that the fennec is one of the most if not the most domesticatable of the fox species. Ive been looking into buying one as an exotic companion (when I get a bigger place, in a year or so) and was wondering if you breed your pair normally? Or if this litter of kits was a mishap? And if you do breed, do you sell them? Because if so, im VERY interested in your pricing and fox babes. <3

The fennec is not the most easily tamed actually, I have found that title to lay with Vulpes vulpes of the fur farm morphs as even if you do not get a Russian domesticated silver fox all of the ones raised on fur farms are accustomed to humans and have been for generations.
The above said the fennec does require the lest space opposed to the others with them being so small which along with their adorable looks is why so many people choose them but be warned they are VERY loud, the least skilled at using the litter tray and the most delicate.
Yes I did plan to breed my fennecs, I just had no idea Inari had actually managed to 'hit the spot' shall we say as he is often found humping Kitsunes head, hip, ears etc. so I just assumed she had been making a pig of herself with the meal worms lol.
Lastly yes, I do plan to continue to breed them HOWEVER I live in the U.K. so buying one from me may work out a tad expensive. Join Sybil's den: [link] you will find the fox forum of much use to you. Also take a look at the list of breeders here:
[link] . I cannot recommend Mandy aka Dinnka on the forum highly enough as a breeder. She breeds fennecs as well as Swifts, silvers, greys and does an amazing job with them.

Oh really? Ahh, gotcha. Ive heard of the fur farm morphs before, didnt know if they sold those to ppl interested or if they were used only as furs. *shudders* I may look into the silver foxes then. <3 Thank you so much for all of this lovely info!
Yeah, ive watched several youtube videos on them and they are very boisterous little things. Hard to imagine with something so small! But its just me, so the noise wouldnt bother anyone but me, and I can take it, ive already got a cat that doesnt know how to shut up. 
LOL. Adorable, I had an issue with that with my collies at one point. Didnt think my Izzy would -ever- get it right, but he made it. *chuckles*

such a cute pose! I also love how the detail of the fur is so visible. I've never gotten a chance to see one up close before so I never really got to see how their back is covered in little brown hairs sparsely over top of the normal pale tan coat. Might I use this as a reference in the future when I go to draw a Fennec?

You can't have a half fox, foxes can only breed with foxes and it has to be a fox of the same species.
For example my corsacs and my arctic cannot breed, nor can my dog and my foxes.

I have corsac foxes (Harry, Elspeth, Rudi and Valla)
2 Fennec foxes (Inari and Kitsune not counting their kits)
1 Arctic fox (Sapphire)
and I had one silver fox (Freyja) but she passed away
