Description
The Northern Goshawk is one of my favorite birds. Having encountered them in migration, defending the nest, and in the hand while banding them for research, I would venture to say that they have one of the fiercest and most no-nonsense birdanalities out there. Trying to capture that was a real drawing adventure.Β This landscape was inspired by a combination of places and times, including the mountains of New Hampshire and the stunning fall colors emerging in Massachusetts.colored pencil on bristol paper
