Like an inescapable dream...-
Hi, here is a piece i made in a speed paint session with =PlasmaX7 , it took about 1 hour, well, hope you all enjoy it.

Look at this long enough and you can almost expect to see the planet rotating ...Very nice work... and the star looks like the over taking of a planet by a nebula...Mr. Data take us to impulse power and hold position at the outer rim ...very nice work indeed

This one's without the fluent texture of the nebula clouds, but at the same time the crayon does its work and creates a different yet still fabulous impression.

Feels very ethreal with the light rays from the star overlapping the details in the planet and nebulae. Just noticed however that there seems to be another light source from the top left that emits the same light rays. Just kind of bugs me a bit.
Love the subtle colours though, very nice.

Aha, actually I'm glad that you realise the star type is emitting the rays, & that there must be another star like it outside the scene emitting rays, although it does create a bit of a paradox - it adds an extra layer of depth the image, but I can see how it could confuse the eyes, depends how you look at it though.

Somehow this reminds my of Gary Tongue's work. The ray effects is very well done but some of the element's in this piece seem a little to 'hard/sharp' though. My compliment on th overall composition.
