Just a comic doodle of a little idea I had after watching the first episode of the new season.
Inspired by Disqord's dialouge:
"Did you miss me, Celestia? I missed you..."
...
"Ohh... I've forgotten how grim you can be, Celestia... It's really quite... booorrring."
Not that I think Celestia is insensitive or mean, but sometimes the ignorance that comes with young age can lead to poor behavior.
Told from Disqord's point of view (as in, he's the narrator).
EDIT:
Just to clear something up... I don't think that an incident like this would've "turned" him. He was already on his way to Evilsville. So Celestia rejecting him isn't his "origin story" or anything...
I figure he finally decided that, since he wasn't getting any positive attention, he'd settle for negative attention... which is when he discovered his one true love: Chaos

I loved this amazing comic when I saw this for the first time in october '11.
I'm still loving it right now! Even after about 8 months since I found it I can't help but read it over and over again.
It's definitly the one backgroundstory about Discord & Celestia I always wanted to see.

the vision of this piece of art is brilliant
the more hope that he has the lighter the picture is but as he starts to come the the realization of hopelessness it gets darker and the viwers emotion synergistically falls into the darkness as well.
his sun was taken away from him so he had no choice but to be in complete darkness

I love this, In my opinion it's the best Comic this community has. You're a great inspiration and a master of stories, So well told and executed and the artwork is absolutely fantastic. Don't see why people hate the way you portray Celestia - The way she's put here makes her look less of a princess and the fact that Discord was only after positive attention from somepony makes the whole thing have an "air" about it that really almost makes me cry at the end. Sorry for gibbering, Just wanted to say how much of a Masterpiece you have created!
