Omg reading this whole thing filled me with so much emotion. The betrayal and sadness and him becoming so fierce and choosing chaos as the element of his true being to finally seeing the same face that helped spark that ferocity at the very end. Very moving and sad. I really believe Discord was just so misunderstood and all he needed was a little love but the lack of it made him who he is now. I was wondering if I may write a fanfic based on this? It will be six chapters, one for each chapter you have drawn here. I understand if you do not want me to so but I was just wondering

Discord is such a tragic character. He want just a little love. But love rejected him, order would not help him, no one helped him to control the his own chaos.
They could rule together keeping chaos and order in equal proportions because where is order, there MUST be chaos.

Words can't truly describe this. And the only thing I have to say is 'Even though he was already a monster. even though he was already headed down the path of evil, even though he hated order and loved chaos, maybe just maybe if Celestia had given him a chance, looked pasted his flaws to see him and how he did love her he might not have changed the way he did. He might have even changed his ways for good.' It's always best to try and find the good in people rather the shoot them down before you ever truly get to know them. Even if one day they do stab you in the back.

Keheheh. Discord was turned to stone, and the last thing he saw was Celestia. I sense Trollestia at work here. It's all so amusing, seeing as I have a split appreciation for Chaos and Harmony. And when the two at are odds? Why that's the best part.

Okay, so I'm not sure about anyone else, but unless on offchance they bring Discord back for the pilot of Season Three, I'm counting this as cannon from now on. It's amazing how many parallels you can draw between Discord's actions and this comic. Like how - from the way I see it - he actually wanted to be defeated again (not putting up much of a fight at the end of episode 2), and your comic explains his twisted motives. Amazing work, CU, one of the greatest works of a fan I've ever come accross.

I really love your depictions of Discord. You make him more of a villain than a goofball.
You give him depth and anger and just make him more scary and evil. You make him this wild, insane, damaged villain. I just love it. Your art is wonderful, your transitions between "panels" are beautifully done, and you do the writing and the character study so well. Not only are you an amazing artist, but you're an amazing storyteller as well.

That last little message he says, that he had an appreciation for beauty, was that why his statue was smiling? :0 Because he genuinely thought she was beautiful at that horrific moment, or for the irony that he was going through the worst thing imaginable, and, being Discord, decided to smile last second for the lulz?

I like it... I noticed someone talking about it was melodramatic or had bad pacing and was bascially saying it should be done their way. Personally I felt everything was done beautiful.... the thoughts weren't too wordy.... as Discord isn't too wordy himself. I got to see the Discord that couldn't be put into show and I especially like the idea about of why Celestia and Luna would had gone after Discord other than he was creating chaos. The flow was fine the way it is. I don't see any need for change. And really love the faint words found in different places where it seems like he had two different thoughts: the chaotic thought stream and that thought stream that seem to be the 'old' him, focus on Celestia.
