Amazing comic, truly it is.
I can believe Discord's overconfidence towards the two princesses, he took down their entire race, what more could only two of them do.
Though, one thing I've wondered about is the Elements of Harmony.
Did Celestia and Luna create them?
Were they an artifact in the care of the alicorns? And if so, why didn't they use it before they were wiped out?
So many questions...

Personally... I think that the "Elements of Harmony" were not created... but rather, they just always existed.
Celestia and Luna learned how to channel The Elements' power/force through magic, directing and wielding it towards a concentrated purpose (stopping Discord). I also don't think that there is a physical form of the Elements... only representations/artifacts intended to aid in the casting of the magic, as well as being objects of cultural/artistic significance (meant to remind everypony about the importance of the Elements).
When Twilight used the Elements with her friends, she only needed her realization/understanding of the Elements to call upon their power, not the physical symbol of them (Which Nightmare Moon smashed). It is the spirit of the Elements that is their core power (not the idea of them).
"You think you can destroy The Elements of Harmony just like that? Well, you're wrong, because the spirits of The Elements of Harmony are right here!
...I felt it the very moment I realized how happy I was to hear you, to see you, how much I cared about you. The spark ignited inside me when I realized that you all -- are my friends. You see, Night Mare Moon, when those Elements are ignited by the... the spark, that resides in the heart of us all--it creates the sixth element: the element of... Magic!"

OMG I LOVE IT!its so amazing and so differant from any other discord comic I HAVE EVER SEEN.And I must say your art is beutiful and the story is touching and I can't really use words to describe how absaloutly amazing it is and I find that it covers discords background perfectly.Its amazing what you were able to do with only 2 episodes of him.You are an amazing artist and story writer and should consider publishing to Eqd (only if it hasn't alredy been featured).Keep up the good work! I usually don't like the rougher styles of art, but this..... This was beautiful. I can't explain how much I love this.
What she did to him was terrible. What he became returned the favor.
What he caused was a nightmare. Then they awakened the world.
His final judgement was for an eternity. An eternity will pass and he will return to their world to bring chaos again.

That sentence is working off of the 'chasing' sentence before it... so, never letting him stop running/flying away, no instant to stop to rest -exhausting him.
I admit, it is an awkward sentence.

Chaos is not 'bad,' not the way the show depicted it. There's nothing wrong with allowing a little random in your life, finding the humor in everything. Sadly, Discord did take it a bit too far - I believe he is 'Chaotic Evil,' as they say. and Evil, in all its forms, must be stopped.
But Chaos does not have to be stopped. Chaos may be reveled in, if only for the appreciation it gives one for Order.

I gotta say, this is quite a philosophical take on a rather epic storyline that hundreds may interpret.
There could have been hundreds of other stories, but none of them could have quite had the edge this had: the whole story shows the idea of thought-procession: instead of the story just being told from a different perspective, the one who turned into a sociopath is the very one to tell the story - had Celestia told the story, it would more than likely but a lot more stern but somehow lighter-hearted. To combine the actions and thoughts of Discord into one story is brilliant: he's a very thoughtful and yet uncontrollable person - makes all kinds of impossibilities.
A lot of fans would probably think that chocolate rain clouds and dancing buffalo isn't that bad: but the second episode of Season Two was simply an approach: after all, Discord did say they were the first changes. To have a back story about Discord turning the entire world into a life-consuming wasteland is a much darker approach than the almost comical version that Faust presented.
It's a rather amazing story, quite possibly the greatest Pony fan comic / story ever made. It's detailed, well drawn, the dialogue is epic and the storyline is engrossing. This entire comic speaks all kinds of emotions: rejection, hatred, comedy, insanity, redemption, and retribution. Very, very amazing.
Faust would be proud indeed.

But, yeah, this should totally become an official story for the show. Though it might lose its magic - literally. This is dark, very mono-dimensional and in the good sense of it. It would give an entirely different perspective to MLP.
And I totally view Discord with a lot more sympathy and a lot more stern.

I've read the entire comic, and I must say it's amazing. All the pages was well done and very beautiful in their own ways. I really enjoyed reading it.
As for this page, I think it's a good ending for the comic. I love the part on this page with Celestia and Luna using the Elements of Harmony, it looks really pretty. Also like how the last part kind of binds the end together with the first page. Clever indeed

The one thing here, though I can see that you were pressed for time, is that it might have been interesting to see Discord plant the seeds for petty jealously inside Luna's head before he completely turned to stone. That being said, this remains completely epic and self contained.
