That was a great story, but one thing was not explained...How come when he's trapped in stone, he looks like he's singing(in the show)?

I love the dark twist you put on it. I had seen both of the episodes with Discord before reading these, and then, he was nothing but a silly cartoon villain. I thought he was cool, sure. But I didn't see him like I do now. Now I will see him with a dark past full of disappointments.
Thank you for sharing your vision =] I love seeing stories from the perception of the lesser characters and bad guys. It always changes how you see things in that story.

This is what I think of when I tell others that our fandom is best.
This is a great example of how we (well, y'all, since I suck artistically) can take a single line of dialogue, or even just a look, and turn it into something great; to have the level of maturity needed to recognize that the situations are quite real to the characters and respect enough for them to have them respond as a real person would without devolving into slapstick, T&A or pointless gore.

I am in love with these illustrations. The symbolism and emotion you've put into this art is moving. You did few people manage to do and made your villain one that is to be hated.
I hope you find future inspiration to do more projects. I would love to see more of anything you could produce and would like to link this short story from my fan fic. I've a couple thousand readers that I know would be stunned by this if they haven't seen it already.

I like this story. Some elements seemed out of place. Like the rejection at the beginning and having the whole race nearly eliminated after and 'forgetting' about those two. It was very well constructed, and a very deep sense of empathy.
