Overall

Vision: Fits the title and intent in the description perfectly. Each of the four gems are nicely done to leave no question to what they are. Nice work.

Originality: I have seen many pictures of gemstones because I admire their beauty and this piece has the originality of the artist's style. Each one has a uniqueness about them that I like that I haven't seen identical in others works. I've seen some work close but that is because certain gems or crystals don't normally have many shapes they can be found in, or look good in. Nicely done.

Technique: I will start with the red crystal gem. I like the shade of red and how the lighting is done to display it can be seen through. I also like the darker black that is included because to me it shows that it is not perfect. It could also show there is something dark shadowing it or is at some angle of it and thus is being shown in the crystal.

I would recommend maybe if, depending on the source angle of the lighting, to maybe try a bit more with shine or shadowing to better define the angles of the crystal gem. It would show them easier and give the gem more depth and definition. Nothing wrong with the top shine that is lovely but maybe if you are having a colored shine that is from the top then perhaps if doable, and wouldn't look dumb, try having that shine be noticeable through the inside of the gem so it can better show the crystal is transparent enough to be seen through to some degree.

Onto the second gemstone that is a lovely shade of purple. I like the rounded shape and the lines to show it isn't perfect yet does add to its beauty. It reminds me of a marble and that's wonderful as I've never really seen an ugly marble. The rainbow colored shimmer is a nice touch and makes me think of something that's fracturing. The darker lines are nicely angled to show the roundness and that the gem is more than just a flat circle. The shades of purple used are nicely used and looks natural.

I cannot think of any suggestions for improvement on this gem.

The third long crystal gem is equally as lovely with its shading, lighting, and coloring. The pale color gives the indication it is a clear type of gem but also cloudy enough to know it isn't a crystal clear item. The extra colors are very lovely and adds to the eye of knowing the light hitting it is being changed like a prism can do. I like how the edges are seeable and how there is even a darker shine to show the crystal has lighting inside or is reflecting around inside it.

I cannot really think of any suggestions except maybe with the frontal lights on the surface, perhaps they could show up a bit even if faded on the side we see to show they are not just on the surface but from a light source coming through it.

Lastly the green gem. I like how the edges are smooth and rounded to give a more slippery feel to its look. The color is beautiful and the darker shades are excellent. It appears natural for those lines and spots to be there. The white lines around the edges to show a curved surface is a nice attention to detail. I enjoy the black splotch as well to show another form of what some might see as a deformity yet it is lovely as well as not abnormal for a gem to have something like that in its more raw state. The darker spots on the ends are also a nice detail I enjoy. The shine wonderfully shows as well the shinny smoothness of the gem.

I'm not sure what to suggest for improvement or that could help this gemstone. Perhaps a little bit of shine around the bottom to show its curvature as well would possibly be my only suggestion.

Wonderfully done.

Impact: It did not hit me much in emotions but I do admire the beautiful colors and designs of the four gemstones. I like their realism as well as not being too real yet having that appearance and feel that they could actually not be drawn but photographed. Nicely done.

Overall: The piece fits the title and all four have lovely color choices, beautiful angles, and are nicely shaded with shine as well. The only suggestions to improve I could think of are listed above and the style of the artist helps these four pieces be unique and original. Excellent work.

Nice! I can tell you really worked hard on these. The one on the lower left I like best, even though all the lines arent as sharp as the upper left... Something about that crackly texture I guess

Wow. Just wow. They look so realistic!
The shading and colors are PERFECTLY chosen and that rendering... wow
Also the textures (especially on the first)... Too. Freaking. Real.
Really stunning. I would never have guessed that these are 3D models if I hadn't known before c:
