Description
The walk through steps for Autumn's Decay, which was painted for the "Learning to Paint Digitally, Edition 2" [link]

Step 1 - I lay down the basic background texture with a large texture brush starting with dark at the bottom to light at the top.

Step 2 - I put in the basic tree sketches in a basic brown color.

Step 3 - I change my mind on the trees and decide to follow a tutorial by `jezebel , I start putting in the grass.

Step 4 - A bit more detail now...

Step 5 - Here I decide to change the color scheme AND setting, and also add more of a light source.

Step 6 - More details, grasses, etc. & shadows

Step 7 - Starting the foliage here, and changed colors just a bit more to grey-ish, more details etc.

Step 8 - Just some final detailing here.

Step 9 - I just had to finish it off with the addition of the skulls, birds nest, squirrel, and birds
