You already know my ire concerning Friendship Games due to certain missed opportunities that were just SO bad that I almost let it ruin the whole movie for me. But seriously, if the only development Flash is gonna get is via fanfictions, then that's just sad. Because let's be honest here, this is getting ridiculous.Related content

Yes, but since they're not doing that either, fanfics are pretty much the only way one can truly appreciate the personalities of minor characters because the fans are the ones MAKING said personalities.Β

So far that Banner short for Friendship games is the only major role Flash has had since the first movie.

You know Flash was going to appear in episode 100 but he was mainly going to go up to Cranky and ask Why no one likes him and given I believe from what I heard the whole episode was a sort of tribute to all the fans did with the non-mane 6 or major ponies this was orginally going to be a reflection on how a majority of fans view Flash

That was the main thing about that movie that bugged me. Everything else was fine and even awesome at times, but that and another problem or two were the only things that left me feeling a little negative about the movie. It kind of irks me. AAGH! I've never felt so conflicted about a movie before!

They Flash thing side, there was something else that bugged me about the movie: The Shadowbolts.
I feeling nothing towards them(at least, the ones in the foreground) aside from the fact that they are the anti main six.

Yeah, I know. That was one of the three things about the movie that bothered me.
1. Flash got downgraded to a joke.
2. The Shadowbolts got barely ANY real character. I can't even remember any of their names.
3. Principal Abacus Cinch is SUCH a throw-away character! I could've come up with a better villain!
In fact, that third thing gives me an idea...

I only remember Sugar Coat because she was named and she had a few speaking roles(and she kind of reminds me of another character. One from Guilty Gear) Same with Sour Sweet and Indigo Zap.
I barely remember the principal's name. Β She is that forgettable.Β
Honestly, you could have swapped Zap with Lighting Dust and little would have changed.

At least it would've been an eye-catcher for anyone familiar with Lightning Dust. But still, despite those three problems, I was still impressed by everything else.

Even by Flash-hater standards that would be getting ridicilous. Then again, I did see many of them giving comments praising Haber for getting Flash rejected by Sci-fi-Twi

Those people praising him are those who don't want to give Flash a chance and probebly the reason why the writers aren't doing anything with Flash Sentry in the ponyverse.

Yeah, this really IS getting ridiculous. And it can only get worse if they let HIM be in charge of anything like this again.
