Your work has always intrigued me. It carries such an uncommon stylization to it that I can't directly affiliate with anything. One could say Tim Burton traits are underlying, but I prefer to applaud artists for what they themselves have derived over the years.
The concept is true, but terrifying. I affiliate it with real life experiences; as in, I meet amazing people who I think I know, but deep down, they are another world. Sometimes, for the absolute worst.

So true... I'm a little bit of both myself.. I'm the cute awkward girl when I'm at church and the weird goth girl when I'm at the mall or out with my fiance & I like both the wild Burtonsque sort of things and the cute frilly sort of things and some in between like "gothic lolita". The folks at my church would probably freak if they knew my inner thoughts, some of the things I like, and the way I dress when I go to the places they don't frequent.
