“The Hellhounds had come to serve their new Lord once he had proven himself their alpha. But what of the remnants? What of the first Hellhounds that had tested the strength of Murnith and paid the price with their savage lives?

Murnith salvaged the remains of the defiant beasts and had them repurposed. With the use of numerous Hellhound scraps and dark rituals, the Cerberus Hellhounds were born.

With three heads and twice the size of their standard kin, the Cerberus became the elite hounds of Murnith, guarding his territory while he aided in the campaign against us. The only benefit to humankind is the rarity of these beasts in the mortal realm, mostly being used to protect the shrines and key locations of the Faithbreaker down in Hell.

The body of this monster can function with a single head intact, making it a relentless foe and worthy of dread. Few weapons of man are capable of putting a stop to these beasts, and I can only hope that more are willing to look into my research on our enemy in order to succeed.”
