Frankie was built in 1985, and entered service the following year.
He was repainted in ScotRail Saltire blue in 2015, and has been running for ScotRail until Ferbruary 2019, where he was sold to Sodor Railways, after the majority of ScotRail's 385s had entered service.
He was repainted into his old SPT Rail orange/black livery in early March, and entered service on March 20th 2019.
He's now a part of the Back-up fleet
Tom the Abellio Greater Anglia Class 317/6 (650)
Tom the NSE/AGA Class 317/6 was built in 1985, and ran on the London St Pancras to Bedford route, came under Network SouthEast in 1986, and were transfered to the WCML London Euston to Milton Keynes and Northampton in 1987.
He was transfered to the Great northern and West Angila routes out of London Kings Cross, and London Liverpool street.
He was refurbished in 2014, and in July 2017, he was sold to NWR for the suburban fleet services. He went through testing and is now running services from Tidmouth to Barrow-In-Furness, under the Back-up fleet
Tom was painted in British Rail Blue, and white, but were later given a plag, to honor Sir Captain Tom Moor, due to his achievements raising money for charity in the run-up to his 100th birthday during the Covid19-pandemic.
Isak the Thameslink Class 319/0 (005)
Isak the Network SouthEast/Thameslink Class 319/0 was built in 1987, to run on the Bedford to Brighton route, under Thameslink, branded by NSE.
He can run on both 3rd rail, and overhead catenary power. (of course not at once. ^^)
He had a different pantograph when built, than he has today. he's been running on the Bedford to Brighton route, under Thameslink, from first day of service, to July 2017, when he was sold for NWR.
He's was tested, and went into service at July 17th 2017, with 'NWR' stickers on.
He was painted in Sodor Railways livery, in October 2017, but was a year later moved to the Heritage fleet. He's in his Thameslink livery, with 'Sodor Heritage Society', and still runs services to this day.
Alexander the ScotRail Class 320 (302)
Alexander was built in 1990. He started operating the Argyle line, but was restricted to the North Clyde route, due to problems with platform monitors.
He was moved to the Cathcart/newton Lines in 2016, to cascade some of the 314s. He was bought by Sodor Railways in February 2019 and was repainted into his old SPT Rail orange/black livery, and entered service on March 20th 2019.
He now runs under the Bacl-up fleet, usually doing services with Frankie.
Allan the Abellio Greater Anglia Class 321/3 (302)
Allan was built in 1988 for services out of Liverpool Street.
He first ran for Network SouthEast, then for other companies, ending with Abellio Greater Anglia, when he was sold for Sodor Railways in 2017.
He had stickers applied until October 2017, when he was repainted. He was moved to the Heritage fleet a year later, and repainted into Greater Anglia Renatus livery, but with Sodor Heritage Society stickers. He's still running to this day.
Robert the Royal Mail Class 325 (004)
Robert was built in the 1990s for royal mail services.
He ran for Royal mail, until January 2018, when he was bought by Sodor Mailways.
He was only given a new coat of paint, not a whole new livery, but still run mail services on Sodor, although he was later painted into Sodor Mailways purple livery.
He had his drop-head buck-eye couplings removed, and changed to screw coupling, so he can pull the other mailcars in the Mail fleet. This was in 2023 replaces with a tightlocker coupling, should he be used to rescue another train with such couplings.
Percival the Southern Class 455/8 (801)
Percival was built in 1982 for suburban services around the south of the Greater London Area. He'd later be a part of Southern.
After 40 years of trusty service, Percival ran his final service in early May 2022. He was supposed to be sent off for scrap, but SIR bought him right away, to have him restored to original BR conditions, with PRM-TSI requirements on top.
He, along with Bardie and Luna was in 2023 given a night themed livery, as a range of special liveries given to many of SIRs trains.
Bardie the South West Trains/South Western Railway Class 455/9 (901)
Barde was built in 1985 for NSE.
He was first shown in NSE livery, then in South West Trains' NSE copy livery, and finaly in SWT/SWR livery.
In July 2018, he was sold to Sodor Railways, to run with and without Luna, who's been his best friend since 2014, on dedicated suburban services.
He was painted in Sodor Railways livery when he arrived, on August 2nd 2018. He went back in service at August 6th same year.
Today, he's a part of the Back-up fleet
He, along with Percival and Luna was given a night themed livery, as a range of special liveries given to many of SIRs trains.
Luna the South West Trains/South Western Railway Class 456 (005)
Luna was built in 1991 for Network SouthEast.
She was transfered to Connex, but was transfered to Southern in 2004, after Connex lost the franchise.
In 2014, she was transfered to and refurbished for SWT, and quickly became best friends with Bardie.
They've since been working in unit, until they were bought by Sodor Railways in July 2018, to operate, either seperate, or in one unit, depending on the time of the day.
Although Bardie was painted in Sodor Railways livery, Luna was painted back in NSE, but with Sodor Railways logo, to show she's a branchline train. She was transfered to Sodor Railways' Branchline fleet, while Bardie was transfered to the Suburban fleet. Luna entered service in August 6th 2018.
Luna was in 2020 moved to the Back-up fleet, to stay with her best friend.
She, along with Bardie and Percival was given a night themed livery, as a range of special liveries given to many of SIRs trains.
