Description
Though he was staggered back, the cyclops retaliated by picking up a parked motorcycle and throwing it right at me like it was nothing more than a water balloon! (It, um, didn’t feel like a water balloon, btw.) Now, I’m pretty tough as Djinni but this happened so fast that I wasn’t able to throw up an air-shield in time. So down I went.

In the half-second before I blacked out, I’m pretty sure I thought how nice it would be if She-Hercules were able to lend a hand.

Real talk: I have no idea if this was the result of one of my “stray wishes that come true” things or if she just has super-recuperation power (which seems just as likely), but, just as I took my little trauma snooze, She-Hercules was suddenly up and leaping into the fray.

Of course I had to discover this later, but the very first thing she did was deliver a nasty, super-strength shot to One-Eye’s mythological junk with her (magically present?) club. I wish I’d been conscious to see that!
