The streets have gotten so mean in the future that even paramedics carry badges. This hybrid officer responds to medical emergencies but also has the power and knowledge to arrest suspects. Their armored ambulances contain the newest technology in medicine and life support. Often seen as bleeding hearts by their Beatcop brethern, they can be just as corrupt. When someone's life is in thier hands, the right payment can make them loosen that grip quite easily.
