Impressive great work! love it

May I ask you...How do you create those evenly placed bump patterns on your models in zbrush? I've been trying to do so for a long time but coulnd't make it

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Crashmgn In reply to EditionDug [2009-01-13 09:44:40 +0000 UTC]

well that's not a problem u should get used to standard zbrush tools like flattern and pinch well and smooth of course all the workflow is based on a form defining and increasing subD levels make the form smooth it use flattern if it still look bumpy smooth it again use pinch on the edges nothing supernatural here

Hey! thx for the reply ^^

But i know how to use zbrush brushes and the workflow proccess. However, the one thing i dont know how to achieve is how to make an even pattern on the surface of the model like the squared and dot patterns you did in your IronHail model.

Last thing i tryed was to use the stencil feature but it didnt work aswell :S

It would be great if u told me how to do that.

Thanks a lot and keep up that incredible work you do ^^

I want that triple gauss cannon, now I know I will get a seat on the subway. No more dodging autocannon fire from disgruntled old ladies.

Looks great.
Are you going to put this guy in a scene?

lol! well i think this guy is finished i'am a modeler and this is just a presentation of a model itself

Think of the fun you could have making a scene with Ironhail vs Grannie Doom for the last seat in the Bot train.

Anyway, the model looks great.

He looks great. I have yet to get into trying to do techy stuff in Zbrush. Do you find it easier to do in a traditional app or in zbrush?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Crashmgn In reply to ShaunAbsher [2008-10-28 11:55:32 +0000 UTC]

Thanks alot really appreciate. Well to tell u the truth i can't say it's easier but u can get lots of great details in zbrush and u don't need to think about edge loops 4 sided polys topology and all that stuff that u need to think of whan u doing traditional poly modeling...u just makin the forms that u like and when u don't u smooth them and tryng to make another... i like it more then polymodeling... so the idea is even if it consumes more time u know that the result will worth it
