SPRITING. AND. ANIMATING. WITH. FLASH. WHY. DO. YOU. DOOOOOOO.
Seriously. I never want to sprite. AGAIN. NEVER. EVER. AGAIN. ORZ Or at least try to animate with sprites. I've been too spoiled to vector graphics. Way, way too spoiled. This was a wholly painful experience. It's not a lack of inexperience in spriting, nor is it that in animation. (I've actually done plenty in both, though I never post either up here); it's the fact that I've done only very limited amounts of both together. And Flash decided that it was gonna be a bitch and only export in web-safe colors for gif.
So on that note, extra-special super-duper thanks to , who was kind enough to run my FLA fire through ImageReady (which I do not own) so as to preserve the colors and transparentize the sprite. Still, I have no valid excuse as to why the shading couldn't be completed. Bad management of time, really, on my end. But despite my utter hatred for what shit I've pushed out of my system at the last minute, I do have to be proud. Cause it was a lot of spriting and I think that despite a few derpy moments (and the fact that I didn't have time to add another three frames for when Arti is bringing up its wings), it's a fairly decent looking animation. You know, given I'm way out of animation practice and way out of spriting practice. (I should change the former.)
If you're wondering what that line around Articuno in the beginning is, it's an ice block. 8V I found no real solid way to portray ice, as I didn't want to shade white over the large pixellated image I did, because it just didn't look right, you know? I also lacked time to make a thousand ice bits fly away when it busted out. So bad artist on my part.
Timing at the end may be a little off too. Or suddenly change. Really, at this rate, I'm not gonna be ultra nit-picky about how it ends, given it runs pretty long anyways. Again, proud of it, but never ever gonna touch this bitch up.
Fireworks and Flash MX, 20 FPS, 570 frames, only partial transparency cause apparently imported GIFs are a bitch, way too many sprites to count and one too few nights spent on it.
Articuno belongs to Nintendo, and the club logo belongs to :iconpoke-pixels:.
I still love Articuno. Maybe I could do a non-raster, prettified version of this later. I may do that. After I get a billion and one things done. I always seem to have a billion things to do. :U Anyways, wish me luck! *rushes off to try and do a half-million things for June Jubilee*
Also, I know what I mainly did wrong with this animation and the sprites, so be gentle and respective on it, okay? Like I said I have no desire to fix it up or ever do it again. >:C

Ages. So many ages man. Actually, probably closer to just 20 hours total. I dunno, I have a bad sense of time so it could be more or less. ;7;
Thank you for the lovely comment. ;7;
