Description
Inject color into the world, to revive this dull and barren landscape populated by mostly-harmless zombies. There are many ways to do that. It won't always work, but sometimes you may create an oasis for yourself and a few others.The finished version is here: [link]

I barely can tell the difference between the two.
It is not very sufficient. The yellow version (this one), looks a bit better though.
But the picture is not sharp, and there is too much of the plain ground before the mother and the girl. I would cut it and enlarge the picture instead, if it was not blurred.

"Sufficient" means מספיק, so i'm not sure what you mean in your 2nd sentence.
The excessive lain ground is intentional. I wanted it to increase that boring, featureless and abandoned look of everything outside the "Injection".
But you're right about the sharpness: it sucks. I had to shoot quick, because the girl was moving, and i would have lost this purrrfect pose in the next second, so the camera didn't have time to focus properly.
In retrospect, i probably should have taken a second shot immediately afterwards, this time forgoing pose in favor of sharpness, and maybe combine the two {for example, taking the faces from the sharp photo}.

I used the wrong word, I meant that it is not really matter.
There should be a function in your camera that takes a number of shots immediately one after another, that could help you to resolve such situations.
Sometimes when you take picture and move right away, and the camera did not finish working, you cause the picture to be blurred. at least it happens with mine. So staying still a second after might help.

There is. But it takes a few seconds to set up, so not very useful for truly spontaneous shots...
Myeah, i know. I always try to maximize stability; however, my hands are far from steady lately. I don't even know anymore whether it's a result of the meds or of the condition they're supposed to treat. :=/

I don't think the bag takes away from the picture. Actually, it adds to it..as far as I can see anyways. Because it feels more like the little girl is only a dream to me. Her pose is so playful and she's gazing at the passerby so gently. But the shopper is busy about her own day...obviously, she's been shopping. I don't think it robs the picture. I think it compliments it. And had you not pointed it out I would not have thought twice about it.

Wow, thanks! I haven't thought about it that way, because i couldn't decide in the first place, whether the shopper is part of the color injection or just part of the "landscape". But now that you explained your view, i can definitely see that. :=}
Hmm, maybe i'll later desaturate everything except the girl, to strengthen the effect.

I think desaturating it just a bit would be a fantastic idea! Even though the shopper is wearing a little color, the colors are still very muted compared to the pop of the umbrella angel. I think the interaction between the umbrella angel and the "barren" landscape is key but I think the interaction between she and the shopper is key as well.

I see... so, you're saying it adds to the impression, that the shopper's level of color is somewhere between the extremes of the UA and landscape, right?
