Welp, the title kinda gives it all away in this one. Was kinda goin for a cell-shaded look to it, I like it, but I'd like to know what some of you think. Also, I think it still needs something, I've been staring at the render for well over an hour and I just can't figure out what. Any feedback on that would be great.Time to completion: 4 hours

Awesome work as usual man. The thought of modelling a turntable in Maya actually came to my mind a few weeks ago but I never got around to doing so, nor could I find a decent reference pic. But this is pretty dandy...
And you used Maya 6!? Do you perhaps know where I could... *cough*... find a copy to download?

Haha, thanks man. I've actually been throwing the idea of modeling a turntable around in my head for quite some time too, right after I completed those headphones actually. But nothing looked right, realisticly modeling a turntable just didn't seem to fit somehow. I rather like the way the cell shading turned out. As for references, I didn't really use a picture, I just kinda went from memory. I still am working on it however, adding a few bits here and there, I'll have a revised one up soon I hope.
And lets just say bit torrent is your friend.

Looks great and I really like the cell shaded look. How about adding a mixer and maybe some slip mats on the decks? Also, I know that my tables have dust covers and lights, that's something to think about.

Thanks man. I completely forgot about a dust cover......And a mixer does sound good too....I got a suggestion to add some hands, maybe scratching or what not, what do you think?

I don't know about that one. I kind of had the impression that this piece was about the tables themselves and not about the DJ but then again, that's just my take on the situation.
