Long ago, Pharaarde was known to rule over ancient civilizations with the help of its evolution, Sphinith. Its nickname in the past was "The Ancient King". Pharaarde is rumored to be responsible for civilizations having tools and surviving during harsh times. This Pokemon would protect its subjects during sandstorms, create a sandstorm around its domain to ward off enemies and would help in constructing buildings. It has survived throughout time even as the civilizations it was in charge of fell to disease, famine or war.
Pharaarde evolves into Sphinith at level 53. Its appearance will depend on the time of day you evolve it:
