Other Stuff:
I was just playing around with backgrounds a bit of late, as I haven't quite found in a lot of cases proper backgrounds. I use premade backgrounds a bit to lock things together... but there is a decided lack in some areas
That and I am aiming for certain types of scenes etc. So I put the background together and then things sort of rolled from there...I reused The Tree that I did yesterday as part of the background. Though I did add a bit more of a canvas like texture for a painting and put it in an ornate frame
The model produced some unique challenges for marblizing. For one thing the resolution is awesome so awesome that it took far longer to do. I had to adjust GIMP to handle larger images better still took a bit... also I had a real problem with her left shoulder for some reason.

Key to these kinds of images are the hair and the eyes. You have both those down really well.

Yeah. The eyes for this model were a bit tricky. I just keep in mind what I see when I go to an art gallery... and work from there. It takes a bit of time to get the hair right but worth it. I am going to revisit this as I'm not completely happy with it
