This picture was another little something I found on derpibooru, and the artist who created it was a user named Kryptid.

For those who don't know who this character is, Braze was the main antagonist of one of the MLP chapter books written by Gillian M. Berrow. The book featuring him was "Rainbow Dash and the Daring Do Double Dare".

The description given by the book is this:

He had blood-red eyes and an earring made of orange-and-yellow phoenix feathers. He had stripes, just like Zecora, only his weren’t black-and-white; they were red, orange, and yellow and looked like the flames of a raging fire. It was a bit intimidating.

The only thing that the book didn't describe was Braze's fur color and cutie mark, but I don't think that matters. Krptid's improvisation on those matters blended PERFECTLY with the rest of the character's description, especially to where this would be exactly what Braze would look like in the show!

G.M. Berrow's book was a pretty solid adventure story, and it provided Zecora some backstory. The book states that she was the guardian of the Half-Gilded Horseshoe, which acts as a key to open the Spirit Circle. If the horseshoe fell in the wrong hands, the villain would not only unlock it to find some treasure, but release an entire room full of ghosts!

Pretty crazy, right?

It really makes me wish that we got to see the story be adapted for the screen. And that Braze made an actual appearance in animated form, of course.
