Blackthorn is King Aspen's second-in-command, appearing as a supporting character in “Revenge of the Everfree” and making cameos in comics after it.One other problem that I obviously didn't say regarding "Revenge of the Everfree" in the description section of "King Aspen" is this:
The comic as a whole seemed to be getting too political with its environmentalist aspect. Other than that, I'm pretty sure the overall concept was incredibly similar to "Ferngully: The Last Rainforest" and James Cameron's "Avatar".
In addition to this, I personally think that the deer characters were being extremely hypocritical. They kept expressing outrage over a theme park owner threatening wildlife and chopping down parts of the forest, yet they apparently have no problem at all with causing destruction themselves and endangering Equestria?!
What kind of characters are they?!
