For some reason I'm reminded of the Crash Bandicoot series. I guess there's something vaguely Cortex-esque about these designs. Interesting how some of the helmets have Roman influences in them.

How does the process work exactly? Someone draws the first one and keeps getting feeback and changing it? Or does one person just keep changing and evolving it on their own?

I like how the extremely tall and ostentatious crown compensates for his extremely small and puny stature in those bottom four designs.

Ok so maybe it's me but from Tachyon's final and delopment designs, he kinda gives me a Napoleon Bonaparte vibe

I can see that he was originally a Markazian of some sort, given the human-esque features and pointed ears and spots... I believe it was a good move to change his race entirely to something almost anyone can equally hate (I know I hate centipedes like a sweet-tooth addict hates a dentist

I always thought that the design of the head is what commands the design of the whole character, but you push it so far that you make it look easy. I really hate you guys.

What is most awesome about these is that they all look like they could be named Percival.

Some of them have a very "Aladdin" kind of feel to them. xD
The hats on the bottom are great, and I love the sceptres, I can't remember if the final Tachyon had one or not?

I love every game in this series and to see the design process for some of the characters is great. Great concepts, though I can't help but dislike these somewhat cause I like the final product more. Is that bad?
