hey! Saw you at Heroescon. I'm the girl wh o stood at your table talking about SCAD and animation for like 30 minutes. Still love the Nightcrawler pic BTW. If I had money with me I would have bought the poster.

Ha you too. Still love the Nightcrawler! ^^ For my computer apps class I have to morph myself into a creature in photoshop, and I am going to be him. Your pic came up when I was searching for references.

love the composition and movement, this coloring is fantastic, so organic yet so digital, quite a beautiful piece.

Did you put some noise/ texture layer over specific parts of the painting (nightcrawler, smoke, rock on the background), Or did you do it with a texturized brush or something similar? I really like the way you work on the slight textures, they always seem to be in the right place, at the right amount. Is there any video of this one in your site? I take a quick look but didn't find it.
And, of course, amazing piece, as always!!!

It was a blend of texture brushes and final noise passes. It mostly takes a bit of planning and patience. Thanks for the kind words!

I like the final result you achieve in your processes. Everything is so smooth, even with all the noise effects. It is something that always amaze me when I see your stuff
