All interesting designs! I'm assuming the lower design is a chieftain of some sort? I like the glowing blue light areas. Mesmerizing yellow eyes are always a nice touch! These characters seem to be very expressive and I like that in an NPC. This perplexes me. While indigenous means that they are native, it sort of has a primitive connotation to it. While these guys SEEM primitive, you can clearly see that they are a little more advance after closer inspection. Wonderful job! I can't wait to see how they turned out!

This character is so much fun. I really would love to see this work of yours animated for a feature length 2-D cartoon. I think it would work extremely well and rival Disney and Bluth.
