I actually bought the game and enjoyed it like the others. Seemed a bit short for game play wasn't as much of a challenge as the passed ones. not including all for one. but still good.

Is it ok if I ask how long you've been working with the series? I was looking at the sketch book from Going Commando and it reminded me a lot of your work. So have you guys been with Insomniac since the PS2 days? And if you have what was it like to see your work go into HD?

I got the game from Australia, because there is NO WAY I'm waiting until the 20th for it in New Zealand!
But man, it was just... incredible. We finished the story of it last night and we loved every moment of it! And as always, your art style shines through in the design of the characters, species and all 
Now everybody, go out and BUY THIS GAME, NOW.
Oh and before I forget, I do adore this artwork to bits. As featured on the boxart. It's beautiful. Nuff said

Unfortunately I feel like Insomniac ran out of tales to tell for Spyro. Its a pretty hard to write for franchise if you wanted to keep to the original... hence the reboot.

I don't expect it to be exactly like the original, I'm thinking about the gameplay and general look of it like the first three games, but with a more next-gen look. Considering what UbiSoft did with Rayman: Origins (I know it's more 2D) I'd love to see such a reboot with Spyro.

True enough. I'd love to see them keep the original games but just redo everything in line with their new standards (voice acted Spyro anyone?). It would be beautiful... and so many people would snap the physical disks up faster then you can say 'duck'. I cried when my disks stopped working. Ah well, there's always the copies on the PS store... but then I remember I have a high def tv and the age would really show XD So yes, I'd pay for a revamped Spyro
Hmm, wonder if the boys would like to draw Spyro in their style just so we could see how that'd turn out
